This assessment consists of 10 questions designed to determine some baseline knowledge around New Product Development concepts. It is not a practice test for the exam.
Of course, as with any learning program, individual knowledge, skill and effort will determine success on the NPDP certification exam.
Score 80 to 100 points
You have extensive knowledge and background in NPDP principles, practices and best practices. The NPDP Review course will help you prepare for the exam, and identify the key areas you’ll need to study more deeply before you take the exam.
Score 60 to 80 points
You have some knowledge and background in NPDP principles, practices and best practices, but there are significant knowledge gaps evident that may keep you from passing the exam. The NPDP Review may be useful to your efforts, but you should expect to expend an additional 40 to 60 hours of self-study time. You might be better served by participating in a New Product Development study course offered by one of the PDMA Education Service Providers.
Score 60 points and below
You have limited knowledge of NPDP principles, practices and best practices. We do not believe the NPDP review will be helpful to you. Instead, we recommend that you participate in a New Product Development study course offered by a PDMA Education Service Provider.
